Exposing Agnivesh's missionary connections

Murari Sharan Shukla · English edition 23 October 2026 · Hindi original 18 July 2018 · 4 min read

In Sonia's government, big-ticket lobbying could only be handled by someone who was a Roman Catholic Christian. You should know that Agnivesh was counted among the biggest liaisons during Sonia's Congress regime. Agnivesh was a shining star in the corridors of power in those days. Once you gained Agnivesh's favour, people could get the biggest of tasks accomplished in Sonia's government. Nurtured on the bread of Maoists and missionaries, Agnivesh is a fake wearer of saffron robes; in reality, he is a Christian. Agnivesh is a pawn of the Vatican.

Agnivesh was born in Andhra Pradesh, brought up and educated in Chhattisgarh, and worked all his life for missionaries and Maoism. Agnivesh had performed the miracle of saving a dreaded Maoist like Binayak Sen from the gallows with the backing of Sonia's government. To this day, Binayak Sen's neck has not reached the noose. This is not Sonia's power; this is the result of the power of the Church.

Agnivesh runs an organization called Sarva Dharma Sansad. Wherever that organization holds a meeting, in the name of all religions, it is solely the Church that dominates. And the self-proclaimed representative of Sanatana Dharma every single time is none other than Agnivesh. Which means this Sarva Dharma Sansad is reduced to merely being the parliament of the Church. Or rather, this organization was created keeping solely the interests of the Church in mind.

On June 19, 2009, just before the G8 summit, the Sarva Dharma Sansad was organized in Rome. Agnivesh was the organizer, since he is the supreme authority of this organization. Three days prior to that conference, all delegates were taken under heavy security and convenience to the earthquake-affected city of L'Aquila. There, a collective prayer for the dead was organized by Vatican priests. All arrangements were made by the Vatican itself. The idea for the prayer was Agnivesh's own. If you were an Arya Samaji and a Sanatani, you could have also had Vedic Swastivachana and Shanti Path performed there. But why would someone whose soul rejoices in a Church prayer ever perform a Vedic Shanti Path?

The inauguration of the Sarva Dharma Sansad took place at 5 PM in Rome's famous Villa Madama. The inaugurator was Professor Andrea Riccardi, founder of the Community of Sant'Egidio. Andrea Riccardi has continually written books concerning the Church. Because of this writing, he is called a historian. Andrea Riccardi is a loyal one amongst the trusted figures of the Church. That very person was the eminent inaugurator of Agnivesh's Sarva Dharma Sansad. This link is vital for understanding Agnivesh's connections.

Due to his Vatican links, Agnivesh has continuously attacked the diverse sacred sites, festivals, rituals, and traditions of Hindu dharma. The Christian Agnivesh's deep connection with Maoism has also been a major reason for his anti-Hindu stance. Agnivesh has been closely associated with the Maoists of Jharkhand and Chhattisgarh. Agnivesh also has deep connections with the churches and missionaries of these two states. Agnivesh is frequently seen working on their behalf.

Agnivesh's recent visit to Jharkhand was also for the Church. Agnivesh went to Khunti near Ranchi, met all the key missionary figures there, and worked to embolden them—a "healing touch to missionaries." After Sister Consilia and Sister Meridian were caught and confessed to the crime in the baby-selling incident, and following the raids conducted by the state government on the hideouts of the Missionaries of Charity, the foundations of the missionaries have been shaken.

The Catholic Bishop of India, Theodore Mascarenhas, had rushed to Ranchi from Delhi immediately after this raid. But when all his visits and lobbying attempts failed, Theodore Mascarenhas sent the crest-jewel of lobbyists, Agnivesh, to Khunti. The Pakur visit was organized to mislead people. But the aggressive attitude of some youths dispelled all illusions.

Are the DNA of Hindus and Muslims the same?

While reading the novel "Doosri Jannat" written by Nasira Sharma, born in DNA Allahabad, I suddenly remembered Allama Iqbal, who in his "Jawab-e-Shikwa" restlessly and immersed in grief says to his co-religionists: "वज़ह में तुम हो नसारा तो तमद्दुन में हनूद/ ये मुसलमां हैं जिन्हें देख के शर्माये" (The Christians are [ahead] in reason, and the Hindus in culture; these are Muslims, seeing whom [even Islam] is ashamed.)
