Madrasa: The Historical Industry of Jihad

As long as madrasas exist in India or any other country, jihadist mentality and terrorism will persist.

Etymology of the Word Madrasa

In Semitic languages, the word *madrasah* originated from the Arabic root "d r s", which is called *madrasa* in Urdu. No word or root can be formed without a vowel; the very concept of the Semitic root is artificial and of later origin, designed to conceal the Vedic origin. The original root is the Sanskrit "dṛś", from which "d r s" was fashioned in Arabic. In Semitic, this root means to acquire knowledge or to learn. In Sanskrit, the meaning is to see, but the ancient root meaning was to see through the divine eye, that is, to attain true knowledge, from which "darśana" (philosophy) originated.

Arab Bedouin tribes did not have institutions of formal education. The first *madrasah* was established by Prophet Muhammad, and after moving to Medina, it was run systematically, imparting sectarian education and training in the art of war. The Prophet did not acknowledge the necessity of other subjects.

Even today, for jihadists with a radical Islamic mindset, only two subjects hold importance —

(1) Sectarian education of the Quran and Hadith, etc., and

(2) The art of war.

Islam will remain on Earth until Qiyama (after Qiyama Islam will not remain because all Muslims will go to *jannat* (heaven) and *dozakh* (hell), and only non-Muslims will remain on Earth), and until Qiyama, sectarian education and the art of war will remain the principal subjects of madrasas, although in non-Islamic countries, training in the art of war has to be imparted covertly.

Those who claim that the purpose of madrasas is to teach all subjects like other schools are telling a deliberate lie. See the proof of what a madrasa ought to mean to the Prophet —

“The first institute of madrasa education was at the estate of Zaid bin Arkam near a hill called Safa, where Muhammad was the teacher and the students were some of his followers. After Hijrah (migration) the madrasa of "Suffa" was established in Madina on the east side of the Al-Masjid an-Nabawi mosque. Ubada ibn as-Samit was appointed there by Muhammad as teacher and among the students. In the curriculum of the madrasa, there were teachings of The Qur'an, The Hadith, fara'iz, tajweed (correct pronunciation of the Qur'an) , genealogy, treatises of first aid, etc. There were also trainings of horse-riding, art of war, handwriting and calligraphy, athletics and martial arts.”

In Turkey, Kemal Pasha began promoting modern education and the European lifestyle, but he did not ban madrasas. The result was back to square one — even after a hundred years, Turkey today is the international godfather of jihadists. Recently, when India amended Article 370 of its constitution, Turkey was the only country that supported Pakistan! Al-Baghdadi used to sell all his oil exclusively to Turkey; otherwise, all of Baghdadi’s fighters would have died of starvation.

If the world is to be liberated from medieval jihadist barbarism, banning madrasas is imperative. Before 1983, not a single madrasa existed on the North American continent, which is why there was no terrorism. In 1983, under the leadership of Indian ulema, the first madrasa was established in Canada, from where Islamic institutions began to be opened in America as well in 2002. Currently, there are two madrasas in New York, but in most American states, not a single madrasa exists, which is why terrorism is negligible.

It is true that during the time of the caliphs of Baghdad and in later periods, secular subjects like mathematics also began to be taught in madrasas, but according to the Prophet, only Islam and military training should be taught in a madrasa. Certain secular subjects began to be added precisely to conceal the jihadist training, but their actual interest lies solely in jihad. In Islam, "jihad" means struggle or war for an Islamic objective.

Peaceful coexistence with other faiths has never been in the nature of Islam since the time of Hazrat Muhammad. Islam does not accept the status quo; the destruction of other faiths and bringing everyone onto the path of Prophet Muhammad has been the sole objective of Islam from the very beginning. If this radical jihadist mindset were to be abandoned, and Muslims were taught to read, write, and think like ordinary human beings, Islam would be in danger! The elixir that keeps Islam alive is the radical jihadist mindset, which flourishes solely through madrasas.

For a true Muslim, there is no act more sacred than jihad; the jihadist attains *jannat* and 72 *hoors* (celestial maidens), etc., and all the *hoors* become virgins again the next day. All jihadists continuously perform "jihad" with the *hoors* in *jannat* — that there could be any bliss better than non-stop "jihad" with *hoors* is the philosophy of worthless books like the Upanishads or the Gita of the *kafirs* (infidels)!

The above has no relation to the following.
